2011-12 Stanwich Congregational Church Confirmation Class

Confirmation is intended to ensure that the participants have a full understanding of the Christian faith and grasp what it means to be a member of the church. Participation in the class should develop the early adolescent’s understanding of the Christian faith so that he/she is able to make an informed decision for himself/herself whether or not he/she wants to pursue it for himself/herself into adulthood.

Start: Classes begin Sept. 18 with a Commissioning

End: May 13

Confirmation Sunday on May 20

Meetings time: 5:30-7:00 pm, during the Evensong Service
